It’s all about overhead costs and how these costs can and should be measured or measured differently. A simple ratio of overhead costs or employee compensation doesn’t tell the right story for an organization. And just because someone works for a mission-based organization doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be fairly compensated for their hard work, years of experience and level of education.
